Sales Development Representative

The Role

Latchel is a Y Combinator-backed, high growth, and well-funded startup seeking a Sales Development Representative for our rapidly growing Sales team. We are a fully-remote company and invest heavily in creating a strong culture to keep us connected.

Responsibilities will include:
The ideal candidate will:
  1. Find and qualify targets for Latchel’s service.

  2. Complete lead generating activities including email, SMS, social media, & cold calls to create interest in Latchel’s service.

  3. Conduct Discovery meetings to qualify prospects and determine if Latchel’s services are a good fit.
  4. Meet or exceed your monthly quota.

  5. Book Exploratory meetings for Account Executives and successfully transition a prospect relationship to the AE.
  6. Strive to continuously improve your sales process and demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement best practices.

Competencies & Qualifications:

Top characteristics and traits for a successful Sales Development Representative:

  1.  0-2 years experience as a quota-carrying sales representative and/or sales prospecting experience.

  2. Ability to speak with business owners and VP level employees and ask intelligent questions.

  3. Self-motivated with ability to work in fast-paced, changing environment.

  4. Genuine customer empathy.

  5. Organized and strong time management skills.

  6. Excellent written & verbal communication.

  7. A thirst for knowledge and growth in a start-up environment.

  8. A sense of urgency and persistence.

  9. Flexibility – we’re a small company that moves and reacts fast.

Compensation

Base salary+ uncapped commissions + stock options.

Salaries:

0-1 yr sales experience: $40k

1-2 yrs sales experience: $50k

2+ yrs sales experience: $60k

Years of experience only includes time in B2B SaaS sales.

Target Incentives excluding stock: $29,800
