Strategic Account Executive

The Role

Our sales and client management teams are critical to Latchel’s success, helping to empower property managers to deliver unbeatable customer service. As Latchel grows both in scale and scope of offering, the strength of our sales engine and organizational structure must grow with it.

Latchel is looking for a Strategic Account Executive to capture engagement, growth, and performance with our Strategic and Enterprise Accounts. We will establish success and build a plan to reach new heights, while accommodating the variable needs of our amazing clients.

Latchel is the only end-to-end platform that automates maintenance coordination and delivers best-in-class resident amenities. We service over 100,000 homes across over 400 customers in all 50 states of the US. We’re growing rapidly and need a Sales Strategy and Operations Manager to continue our rapid growth trajectory.

Our close partnerships and relationships with our Property Manager clients are a core differentiator for Latchel. We’re looking for a talented, savvy relationship builder who is passionate about growing and developing relationships in this high-impact sales and business development role.

You will report directly to the VP of Sales. This will be a remote position with no in-office or relocation requirements. You’ll periodically travel to national trade shows and events.

As a Strategic Account Executive, you’ll identify, establish, and develop both new and existing business sales relationships with property management companies. You will build and define relationships with some of our most impactful clients to enhance their experience with Latchel and grow their business relationship on our suite of products and services. You’ll focus on growth efforts, including building and developing new relationships, account management, expansions, optimization, operational troubleshooting and more. You’ll renegotiate contracts and work with our top clients on expansion initiatives. You’ll be an agile, self-starter that can take on various client-facing initiatives. You’ll push on scalable solutions and always make data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Manage a consultative, data driven sales process to sell Latchel’s suite of products and services
  • Work cross functionally to build complex customized solutions for our most important accounts
  • Drive core business results by actively growing existing Latchel relationships
  • Build strong relationships through proactive engagement and account management, serving as the primary point-of-contact for property managers
  • Facilitate multiple levels of relationships between key stakeholders at Latchel’s key clients and Latchel’s team members
  • Strategically optimize all aspects of our clients’ experience and performance across Latchel’s suite of products and services
  • Help facilitate client-facing special initiatives that drive value to the overall Latchel enterprise
  • Achieve and consistently exceed quarterly business goals
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to analyze and solve client needs, communicate best practices, and inform our business and product roadmap
  • Create, track and report on account KPI’s and revenue progress
Competencies & Qualifications:
  • You are self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced and changing work environment
  • You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a results-driven sales, account management, or business development role
  • Experience and success working with Property Managers and the Property Management Industry; specifically in Single Family Management
  • Experience with technology/software sales (SaaS, PaaS, enterprise software, etc.)
  • Experience in a high growth startup: ideally you love the challenges and opportunities of working in the “Startup” environment
  • You have a track record of taking ownership, navigating ambiguity, defining strategies, leading data-driven analyses, and delivering measurable results
  • Proven ability to build strong, trusting relationships with partners and customers at all in an organization and to influence their thinking and behaviors.
  • You have a strong desire to consistently provide exceptional experience to stakeholders and customers, both internally and externally
  • You have a “Bias for Action” and have a proven track record of getting things done, managing your time and prioritizing for impact
  • Strong communication skills, amazing active listening skills, and the ability to influence those around you

Compensation

Compensation for the Strategic Account Executive role typically ranges from $83,300 – $101,300.
