What is Latchel Analytics?
Latchel Analytics provides an in-depth, customizable view of your maintenance and property operations, helping you understand performance, identify delays, evaluate vendors, and pinpoint problem properties.
What are the main benefits of using Latchel Analytics?
You can quickly assess:
- Your own team’s performance.
- Areas causing delays in your process.
- Your best and worst vendors.
- Which properties are causing the most problems.
How can I see Latchel’s performance for my company?
Latchel shares key metrics on its performance, including the work order prevention rate, emergency de-escalation rate, and the number of resident interactions handled for you.
What kind of company performance metrics are available?
You can view key metrics and performance indicators for your company, such as speed to complete work, delays, customer reviews, and more.
Can I track the performance of my maintenance technicians?
Yes. Latchel allows you to rank and rate your maintenance technicians. You can see how much of your delays are caused by your property managers and view top and bottom performing technicians across key metrics.
How does Latchel provide insights into property issues?
Latchel uses AI Property Insights to help you understand root causes, even when issues are described differently across multiple work orders. It identifies properties with repeat issues and the problems you face most often.
Does Latchel have documentation for Analytics?
Yes, we have detailed explanations of the metrics and reports, including suggestions on how to best use them to improve your performance in our Help Center.
What is the difference between Analytics and Analytics+?
The basic “Analytics” offering is free and provides data for the past 90 days. It does not include performance benchmarks or custom reporting.
For enhanced insights, “Analytics+” starts at $0.25 per unit per month with an annual contract, with a minimum monthly price of $100. This tier includes performance benchmarks and offers an unlimited data range. Users also receive three basic custom reports, with more available upon request.
Both versions include Work Order Performance, Vendor Performance, Latchel Performance, Property Insights, On-Call Scorecards, and the ability to share and schedule reports outside of Latchel.
What are Performance Benchmarks, and are they included in the basic Analytics package?
Performance Benchmarks allow you to compare your company’s performance to similar property managers. They are not included in the basic Analytics package; they are a feature of Analytics+. With Performance Benchmarks you can see how you compare against “middle of the road” property managers and “top performing” property managers.
Can I create custom key performance metrics (KPIs) and benchmark them against others?
Yes, with Analytics+ you can Build Unique and Custom Benchmarks for key performance metrics specific to your business and see how your company compares to other property managers, even if they don’t track the same metrics internally.
What kinds of custom reports can I request?
We support a large variety of custom reporting options, such as:
- Single data point metrics or KPIs
- Charts an graphs to show change over time
- Charts and graphs to compare multiple data categories
- Custom AI Analysis, Reports and Recommendations
- Custom Benchmarks
- Custom historic “snapshot” data storage
How many custom reports do I get with Analytics+?
Analytics+ comes with 3 basic custom reports, graphs, metrics, charts or AI Insights. Complex requests and Custom Benchmarks count as 2 reports. Any new report requests or changes to existing reports count as a request. You can learn more about the standard usage limits and details in our Help Center.
How do I know if a report will be “Complex”?
The vast majority of reports are not complex, however we see as users become more advanced, the complexity of the insights they need will grow. When a report is complex it is counted as two reports. Here’s the criteria we use to determine if a request is complex:
- Any new custom benchmark
- Requires multiple distinct data sources
- Has complex logic and conditionals (e.g. for all my vendors that took more than 1 day to schedule, what is their no show rate?)
If you are requesting a complex report we will share the increased scope before proceeding.
What if I want more custom reports?

What is the cost of Analytics+?
Analytics+ is priced at $0.25 per unit per month with an annual contract, or $0.30 per unit without an annual commitment. There is a minimum monthly price of $100, which is separate from any other subscription minimums.
