How To Protect Your Rental Properties From Bad Tenants Y-Combinator REZI Talks

The Y Combinator program has helped launch some of the most successful companies out there today. Airbnb, Stripe, and Dropbox are just a few on the long list of high impact businesses. Their program for startup companies involves a 3 month period where the founders move to the Bay Area in California to get coached into becoming the high growth and high impact business their respective industry needs. At the end of the 3 month period, each company accepted into the program is given the opportunity to seek funding from various venture capitalists through Demo Day.

Latchel recently went through the Winter 2019 batch, where we met the team at Rezi. Rezi is a New York based company that’s looking to revolutionize the rental market. According to a recent study, 58% of rental property owners reported that finding and keeping good tenants was their biggest pain point. Rezi aims to ease that pain point with its technology solution.

Our goal is to make the rental market fair through technology.

In our Q&A session with Rezi, we dive into the aspects of the Y Combinator program that lead to the success of each company as well as how exactly Rezi aims to transform this industry. Watch the full session below:
