Latchel supports property management companies and landlords across the US. Our primary service troubleshoots and dispatches 24/7 emergencies for property managers. We work with a company’s existing vendors if they have them and provide vendors when their vendors are unavailable or they don’t have them. We provide diagnostic, troubleshooting, and dispatching services so property managers have more free time and less frustration. We use technology to improve the experience for renters and vendors and make our operations processes more efficient.

Latchel offers services in several multi-billion dollar industries. Property management is a $72B industry in the US; contractor services are worth hundreds of billions. Both of these industries are underserved by technology and suffer from low market penetration and extreme fragmentation. At Latchel, we believe we understand the reasons for low market penetration and take a different approach than other companies in the field. On-Demand Maintenance Troubleshooter & Dispatcher – Fully Remote

Are you a property manager or maintenance tech looking for extra cash and a flexible schedule? Are you able to troubleshoot common rental property emergencies over the phone? We’re hiring on-demand troubleshooters and dispatchers to diagnose emergencies, troubleshoot requests, and if required, dispatch technicians. You pick your hours of availability. You can work from anywhere with a solid internet connect and/or cell signal. Think of it like Uber for Troubleshooters.

You will:

1. Call tenants to understand their maintenance issues.

2. Guide them to fix issues over the phone and to de-escalate emergency situations so they’re no longer emergencies.

3. Call out to maintenance technicians if emergencies can’t be fixed or de-escalated. We want to get someone out immediately for most emergencies.

4. Once a technician gives you verbal confirmation that they can go out, you assign them the work order in our software and you’re all done! Nice work. Our average incoming emergency requires about 15 minutes to resolve.
