How to Change the Vendor on a Work Order

This workflow allows you to recognize and create severity settings for problem/location combinations that have not previously been set. The workflow can be accessed from any work order page.

Problem/Locations Settings Assistant Step-By-Step Guide

When a Work Order is created and there is no severity setting for that problem/location combination, the work order will default to “Needs PM Approval” and a severity setting will need to be applied for this to not recur in the future. To set this up, follow the instructions below:

Step 1). You will see a yellow warning box with the text “No setting yet for this problem/location” and a call-to-action button that says, “Set Now”. Click on the “Set Now” button.

Step 2). Once clicked, a settings modal will appear with a default setting of “Approval Required”. From there, you can decide if you want the job to be Resident Responsible or if your PM company is responsible for the job, you can set the severity for the job to Normal, Urgent, or Emergency.
